Ensuring continuity of care should care businesses fail and there be a risk of services stopping. Everyone’s needs for care and support are different, and needs can be met in many different ways. Regulations made under the Act will come into effect in April 2020 to implement the funding reforms outlined in this factsheet. It’s very tough to handle parents or elders at home and tell them not to drive. Especially once age catches up and you see they aren’t able to drive as well as before.
